AS a child I was exposed to physical and sexual abuse. I have had a lifetime of things going against me. I was so busy thinking life hated me. I felt no one understood me or cared. I was at a point of giving up on life when I heard about EAP. I soon found huge value in spending time and money on myself. I now find myself looking in the mirror each day and see a different person. I see someone who holds her head high, making decisions, being the ‘best’ me that I can give my family and friends.
